Not to use the platform. A community can charge its own members for its own plans — dues, supporter tiers, seats — and those amounts belong to the community, not to us.
From the country your network connection appears to come from, which every content network works out and passes along with the request. We never ask your browser for your location, so there is no permission prompt and no coordinates involved. It is only an approximation — a VPN or a work connection will get it wrong — so pick any currency above and the page will follow.
No. Each currency has its own price rather than one amount converted, so a rate change does not quietly reprice your community.
No. An earlier version of this page said “up to 100 members” and nothing in the software enforced it, which made it a promise rather than a limit. Charging per member would tax the largest and most active organisations hardest, which is the opposite of what we want.
A member list is available free from a spreadsheet. What is hard to reproduce is a record somebody else will accept: attendance taken with a single-use code, a term of office with the dates it ran, an audit trail of who decided what. That record is produced as a side effect of running the organisation normally, and it is what a diploma supplement or a certification renewal actually asks for.
Issuing is not built yet, so nothing can be bought today. Nothing that currently works will start costing money — the free side above stays free.
